Hi families!

Our Fall Party will be on Thursday, October 31st from 2:00-3:00. Our planning committee is organizing the food and games, but everyone is welcome to join us! Please let me know if you plan to join us for the party. The office would like a list of names so they know where to send everyone! Also, please fill out this volunteer form if you plan to come. Thank you!

Movie Reward: We are so close to our first class paper clip reward, and we are just about to finish our class read aloud of Because of Winn Dixie! Because of this, we will have a movie day on Friday, November 8th (1/2 day). We will also be having a "party" similar to the one Opal has in the movie. If you signed up to send in some items, please send these in by Wednesday, November 6th. Here is a link to the sign up if you need a reminder!

Math: In Math, we completed lessons 5-8. This week, we will complete Lessons 9-13. Additional help using IXL Textbook and practicing multiplication fluency will be extremely beneficial.

The Unit 2 math test went home on Friday. If your student did not receive a 3, that is okay! We will continue practicing during math bear time. The goal is to be at a 3 by the end of the year!

Halloween: Student may wear costumes to school. All items must be appropriate for school. Masks and accessories will stay in backpacks so that learning can happen during the day. The parade will be at 3:15. Thanks for your help with this!

Music Recorder form: A recorder form went home on Friday. Here is a link for the information. All orders are due by November 18th.

This Week:
Monday: PE
Tuesday: Art
Wednesday: Late Start, Media Center
Thursday: No Special, Party 2:00-3:00, Parade: 3:15
