Report Cards:  Report cards will be coming home this week Please remember, the goal is to get a 3 by the end of the year. If your student is graded below a 3, they will continue to get extra practice individually and in small groups. Everyone learns at different paces! Below is a rubric that explains the learner behavior score on your child's report card. Please take the papers out of the envelope, sign the envelope, and return to school. Thank you for all of your support and help from home this trimester.  GOTR: If your child is participating in Girls on the Run:  It was brought to my attention that the Girls on the Run race is the same day as our Lansing trip. Since we have to plan this trip a year in advance, there's no way to know about other events. I do have good news though! We are planning to leave Lincoln by 7:30am, so if you can plan to chaperone the trip, you should be able to leave Lansing with your daughter and have plenty of time to make it to the ra...

Hi families! Thank you so much to everyone who helped with our Kindness Party. It was such a fun time!  Bear Behavior Ticket Reward: We have reached 20 class bear tickets! The students came up with a really fun idea for a reward. On this Friday, the half day, students can present a new topic to the class! I consider it a passion project. Something they are interested in or passionate about! Some examples I gave were Why Pink is the best color, or why a penguin is the most interesting animal, or even how to do something new. It can be anything that is school appropriate! Students can create a poster or some sort of visual, even just a picture! They can work on this at home or during any recesses, and it is completely optional. Please let me know if you have any questions!  Spring Conferences: Conferences will be starting this week! Students have been working hard on their goals and slides. I have reached out to all the families I would like to meet with, but if you did...

Kindness Party:  Our Kindness Party will be on February 14th from 2:00-3:00. Please let me know if you plan to attend so the office can make sure you have a background form completed.  Kids are allowed to bring in valentines to pass out, but they must bring enough for everyone. We have 22 kids right now. Here is the  class list  if you would like to add names. I will also have bags that kids can decorate and use to collect any items. Thank you!  Spring Conferences: Students will be starting their Spring Conference slides this week! We will be evaluating our fall goals and creating new ones. Spring Conferences are not required for every student. I have reached out to families I would like to meet with. If you have not gotten an email from me, but would still like to meet, please send me an email and we will schedule a time. As a reminder, conferences are student led, so your student will need to attend with you. All students are creating slides and will present ...
