3-9-35

Report Cards: Report cards went home on Friday. Please sign the envelope and return to school with your student. Remember, if your student received below a three in any standard, they will continue to get support and practice in small groups and with individual intervention. Everyone learns at different paces! Below is the rubric that explains the learner behavior scores on the report card.

Planetarium: We will be traveling to Upton Middle School for our planetarium visit this Thursday! We will leave school at 9:30. No parent volunteers are needed for this field trip.

Math: Last week, we completed Unit 6, lessons 6-9. This week, we will complete lessons 10-14. If your child is struggling with the concept of multiplying multi digit numbers, additional practice at home using IXL Textbook will be extremely beneficial! I also recommend practicing multiplication fact fluency.

GOTR: If your child is participating in Girls on the Run: It was brought to my attention that the Girls on the Run race is the same day as our Lansing trip. Since we have to plan this trip a year in advance, there's no way to know about other events. I do have good news though! We are planning to leave Lincoln by 7:30am, so if you can plan to chaperone the trip, you should be able to leave Lansing with your daughter and have plenty of time to make it to the race. More details to follow...

Recess: Please remember to send your student in with appropriate recess gear for the weather, and a change of shoes. Thank you!
